Dental Implants

A stable, natural-looking solution for missing teeth.

A dental implant is a small titanium post that replaces the root of a missing tooth. It is placed into the jawbone, where it gradually integrates with the surrounding bone through a process called osseointegration.

Once the implant has healed, it provides a strong foundation for a custom-made crown, bridge or denture. Unlike a traditional bridge, an implant does not rely on neighbouring teeth for support.

Dental implants can help restore chewing function, comfort and the appearance of your smile while providing a long-term solution for tooth loss.

Care That Goes Beyond the Implant

DENTISTRY, WITH YOU IN MIND

Getting a dental implant is only one part of restoring your smile. We guide you through every stage — from your initial assessment and treatment planning to implant placement, healing and final restoration.

Our focus is on making your treatment clear, comfortable and carefully planned around your needs.

Technology with a purpose

Modern implant dentistry helps make treatment more precise, predictable and comfortable.

From digital imaging and treatment planning to carefully guided implant placement, we use technology where it can improve your treatment experience and clinical outcome.

3D imaging helps us assess your jawbone and plan the position of your implant.

Digital treatment planning allows your treatment to be carefully mapped before the procedure begins.

Modern clinical technology supports precision throughout your implant journey.

Our recommendation is based on your oral health, bone condition and individual requirements — not simply on choosing the most advanced technology.

Is a Dental Implant Right for You?

Treatment begins with understanding your oral health and bone support.

Most healthy adults with adequate jawbone support can be considered for dental implants. During your consultation, we assess your gum health, bone volume and overall oral condition, supported by 3D imaging where required.

Certain factors, such as uncontrolled diabetes, gum disease or heavy smoking, can affect healing and implant success. If there is not enough bone to support an implant, bone grafting may be recommended before implant placement.

Every case is different, which is why we create an individual treatment plan based on your teeth, bone health, lifestyle and long-term goals.

OUR APPROACH

Planned Step by Step

From consultation to your final smile, every stage is carefully planned.

Dental implant treatment is completed in stages, allowing your implant and surrounding tissues to heal properly.

01.

Consultation & 3D Imaging

We assess your oral health and use appropriate imaging to evaluate your jawbone and plan the implant position.

02.

Implant Placement

The implant is placed into the jawbone under local anaesthesia. The procedure is carefully planned to ensure precise positioning.

03.

Healing & Integration

Over the following 3–6 months, the implant gradually fuses with the surrounding bone. A temporary restoration may be provided during this period where appropriate.

04.

4. Abutment & Crown

Once healing is confirmed, the final abutment and custom-made crown are fitted to complete your restoration.

Recovery & Long-Term Care

Comfortable recovery, followed by care that protects your investment.

Mild swelling and tenderness are common for the first few days after implant placement and can usually be managed with the medication recommended by your dentist. Most patients can return to their normal routine within a day or two, depending on the procedure.

A soft-food diet may be recommended during the initial healing period, and avoiding smoking is important because it can interfere with the healing and integration of the implant.

Once your implant is fully restored, good daily oral hygiene and regular dental check-ups are essential. Although an implant cannot develop cavities, the surrounding gums can still become inflamed if plaque accumulates.

With proper placement, maintenance and professional care, dental implants can provide reliable function for many years and, in some cases, decades.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is dental implant surgery painful?

Dental implant placement is performed under local anaesthesia, so you should not feel the procedure itself. Mild to moderate soreness may occur afterwards and can generally be managed with medication recommended by your dentist.

If there is insufficient bone volume, a bone graft may be recommended to create adequate support for the implant. This can add several months to the overall treatment timeline but does not necessarily rule out dental implants.

With proper placement, good oral hygiene and regular professional maintenance, dental implants can last for many years and, in some cases, decades. The crown and surrounding gums still require regular care.
