Root canal treatment at Aesthetic Advanced Dental starts at ₹4,000 per tooth at our Koramangala and Harlur Road clinics in Bangalore. This is a starting price, not a guaranteed final quote. Your actual treatment cost is confirmed only after a dentist examines the tooth, makes a diagnosis and discusses any imaging, additional procedures or final restoration that may be required.
Important pricing note: Every tooth is different. The number and shape of its canals, the extent of infection, whether it has been treated before and how it needs to be restored can all change the treatment plan and final fee.
Root canal prices at our Bangalore clinics
| Treatment | Published starting price | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Consultation and check-up | ₹500 | A clinical examination is needed before a treatment plan and final quote can be provided. |
| Root canal treatment | ₹4,000 per tooth | The final fee depends on the diagnosis, tooth and complexity of treatment. |
| CEREC same-day crown | ₹8,000 | A crown or other restoration is separate and is recommended only when clinically appropriate. |
We do not recommend adding the root canal and crown prices together to estimate your own total. Not every tooth needs the same restoration, and some teeth may need a different treatment altogether. An examination is the safest way to determine what your tooth actually requires.
Why can the final root canal cost be different?
- Which tooth needs treatment: front teeth, premolars and molars can have different numbers of canals and different levels of complexity.
- The condition of the tooth: deep decay, a crack, an abscess or extensive loss of tooth structure can affect the treatment plan.
- First treatment or retreatment: treating a tooth that has already had a root canal can require additional assessment and a different procedure.
- Diagnostic requirements: the dentist may recommend dental imaging or other tests to understand the tooth and surrounding tissues.
- The final restoration: depending on how much healthy tooth remains, the tooth may need a filling, onlay or crown after the root canal.
- Additional care: management of a significant infection or another dental condition may be separate from the root canal itself.
Before treatment begins, ask for a written explanation of the recommended procedure, likely number of visits, restoration plan and fees. A low headline price is not useful unless you also know what it includes.
How does a dentist decide whether you need a root canal?
Tooth pain does not automatically mean that you need root canal treatment. A dentist first considers your symptoms, examines the tooth and gums, and may perform tests or recommend an X-ray. The aim is to determine whether the pulp—the soft tissue inside the tooth—is inflamed or infected and whether the tooth can be predictably restored.
Root canal treatment is commonly considered when infection or inflammation has reached the pulp because of deep decay, a crack, trauma or a previous restoration. The procedure removes the affected tissue, cleans and disinfects the canal space, and seals the tooth. India’s Ministry of Health and Family Welfare patient resource, e-DantSeva, explains that root canal therapy is used to relieve pain and preserve function when the tooth is suitable to save.
Symptoms that should be assessed
- Persistent or severe toothache
- Pain when biting or chewing
- Sensitivity to hot or cold that lingers
- A chipped, cracked or heavily decayed tooth
- Swelling, tenderness or a small pimple on the gum
- A tooth that has darkened after an injury
These symptoms can have more than one cause. They are reasons to arrange an examination, not a way to diagnose yourself online. Rapidly increasing facial swelling, difficulty swallowing or breathing, heavy bleeding, or a serious facial injury needs urgent medical attention.
Is a crown included in the ₹4,000 starting price?
No. The ₹4,000 figure is the starting price for root canal treatment per tooth. A filling, onlay or crown is a separate part of restoring and protecting the tooth after the canal treatment. The right restoration depends on the location of the tooth, the amount of healthy structure remaining, your bite and other clinical findings.
Back teeth often carry heavier chewing forces and may need greater protection, but a crown is not something that should be prescribed from a web page. The NHS root canal overview similarly notes that a crown may be needed when a tooth has been badly affected. At Aesthetic Advanced Dental, a CEREC same-day crown starts at ₹8,000 when it is clinically suitable. Your dentist will discuss the restoration and its price separately.
What happens during root canal treatment?
- Diagnosis and planning: the dentist examines the tooth and discusses whether it can be saved, along with alternatives and costs.
- Anaesthesia and isolation: local anaesthesia is used, and the tooth is isolated for treatment.
- Cleaning the canals: inflamed or infected tissue is removed, and the internal canal space is cleaned and shaped.
- Sealing the tooth: the prepared canals are filled and sealed. A temporary or permanent restoration may be placed depending on the treatment plan.
- Final restoration: the tooth is restored with the filling, onlay or crown recommended for that case.
The number and length of appointments vary. Infection, canal anatomy, the condition of the tooth and the chosen restoration all matter. Our detailed root canal treatment page explains the service and treatment approach.

Frequently asked questions
How much does root canal treatment cost in Bangalore?
At Aesthetic Advanced Dental, root canal treatment starts at ₹4,000 per tooth. The actual fee is confirmed after examination and diagnosis because tooth type, infection, complexity, previous treatment and the final restoration can change the treatment plan.
Can you confirm my total cost over the phone?
The team can explain published starting prices, but a reliable final quote requires a clinical examination. A telephone conversation or photograph cannot show every factor that may affect diagnosis and treatment.
Does every painful tooth need a root canal?
No. Tooth pain can arise from decay, a cracked tooth, gum problems, bite-related issues and other causes. Depending on the diagnosis, treatment might involve a filling, root canal treatment, gum care, extraction or another approach.
Is the crown part of the root canal price?
No. The final restoration is assessed and priced separately. A CEREC same-day crown starts at ₹8,000 when the dentist determines that it is an appropriate restoration.
Which clinic should I visit?
Choose the branch that is most convenient for examination and follow-up: Koramangala 4th Block or Harlur Road near Ambalipura. Both clinics publish the same ₹4,000 starting price for root canal treatment.
